Jean Peterson Design: Elevating businesses through exceptional design and marketing

Susie Mulligan

Susie Mulligan joined Jean Peterson Design with a strong foundation in publication design. Fresh from Coker College in 2008, she joined RidgeRunner Publishing in Hagerstown, Maryland, gaining experience in ad design and layout production. She has since worked as part of a marketing design team for an international biotech company, with an emphasis on catalog and brochure layout. In 2010, she began volunteer work for the Potomac Appalachian Trail Club, for which she shares responsibility of monthly newsletter design and was the sole designer of a trail guidebook to Massanutten Mountain in Virginia.

Susie recognizes her affinity for fine art in her design work as she seeks to fuse the dynamic nature of fine art with clear, polished design concepts. Her own charcoal drawings and oil paintings, rooted in the concept of memory and her childhood in South Carolina, have been exhibited in both Maryland and South Carolina galleries.

Outside the office, Susie keeps moving. Weekend diversions usually include climbing local rock faces, seeking music with plenty of soul, and an occasional quest for the best local barbeque.
